Why are we all so embarrassed by something that most of us have? We all have insecurities and aspects of our bodies that we don’t feel confident about but so much of this stems from our diet culture and the media’s idolised version of what the perfect women looks like. The air brushed version of us that warps the idea of what a normal body looks like. 

Now, I have absolutely no problem with photoshoots, filters, showing off your good side or doing what makes you feel confident BUT I also think it is incredibly important that we show our vulnerability, our real life bodies, our insecurities and the lumps and bumps that we all have and that are so so NORMAL.

You have cellulite? Nothing to be ashamed of. 

You have hip dips? That’s a normal part of your bone structure.

You have stretch marks? Your body has changed and adapted with you. 

You have scars? They show your story.

You have spots? You have nothing to be embarrassed about. 

You have loose skin? You have changed shape and should be proud of yourself. 

Don’t hide your body away because of something that the majority of us have.
